prawns, linguini, fresh baked frozen bread

thinking of shells

unshelled

naked aquatic roaches

they call prawns

the same family as bug spray worthy crawlies

and now in my belly

with garlic sauteed

served on avocado

on the side

linguini

with my tomato sauce

blended smooth

with traces of lamb sausage

passage to the ends of taste

no waste

of emotions

as i dig up memories

of how you'd smile with each mouthful

each deep bite

each slippery swallow

each smacking lip flick sound and succor

and the bread

to soak up all the current now

the sauce, the smallest morsel of taste and smell...

goes down well

with you...
